At the age of 17 he made his Barcelona debut and he promised a great deal, he hasn’t quite fulfilled that, but it looks like he may well do with us after settling well.

He signed for £500,000, yes you read that right. An absolute bargain! The Spanish magician glides around effortlessly and has made an instant impact.

The Spain international has scored five goals for the club, three of which have come in away games; the one at home was against Arsenal where he also had a second wrongly disallowed. Bojan also scored a fantastic goal against Rochdale, but sadly picked up an injury later in the half and was out of action for the rest of the season.

His debut goal came in a 2-1 win over Spurs at White Hart Lane and then on Boxing Day he scored the only goal in a victory over Everton.

In 2008 he made his only international appearance for Spain and if he continues his form then he’ll have to be considered again by Vicente Del Bosque. Great things are expected of Bojan and if anything, he has captured the hearts of the Stoke City fanbase completely and looks set to be a superstar in the Potteries no matter what. Making his comeback against Brentford in a pre-season friendly, he is expected to be included in the first few games of the season for the Potters despite his lengthy absence.
