Dom Telford born in Burnley signed from Blackpool alongside team mate Mark Waddington in July 2015. Following Blackpool’s dismal behind the scenes and lack of spending, he along many other young players got game time, Dom was one of the few shining lights in an awful season for the Lancashire side.

He made his debut for the Tangerines in August 2014 as an 88th minute substitute against Nottingham Forest, in his second start he also scored his first and only professional goal in a 1-1 draw vs Rotherham United. In his first season as a professional footballer he made fourteen appearances, including nine starts.

Dom has been tracked by the club since January, even having a bid turned down and is very well thought of in the eyes of Mark Hughes and his backroom staff. He scored a cracking goal against Wrexham in pre-season, instantly making him one of the younger members of the squad that fans want to see given a chance along with the likes of Ollie Shenton.
